Tutorial

  1. Unzip the plugin, and then decompress the compressed files inside that folder.
  2. Put both the Energy Ball/Blast and the Dragon_Ball_Z plugins into your plugins folder.
  3. Go into After Effects. Create a new solid, make it Comp Size.
  4. Drag the “Energy Ball” preset from the Dragon Ball Z folder on to the new solid.
  5. Alt-Click on the Start Point, in the effects panel at the bottom of the interface drag the “Pickwhip” to the source point of the Rays.
  6. Do the same for the End Point.
  7. Alt-Click on the Blast Size. Pickwhip it to the Core Size, then type *1.830508475 after the value it has filled into the forumula box. This will keep the ratio of the Blast Size and the Core Size together.
  8. Animate the Source Point of the Rays and the Core Size, and you have yourself a Kahemahema effect!
