Hello,
A while back I created a video showing how to use adblock plus to block CPAlead. That has been outdated when cpealead realized what was going on and made people disable adblock plus before seeing the content – effectively breaking the block.
Here’s the new irreversible way to block CPALead – the one click solution.
1. Open up terminal – it can be found at /Applications/Utilities/
2. BE SURE to do EXACTLY what I say here. If you do anything different you may end up deleting all of your files or changing the wrong things. This is because Terminal is a direct command line for your system – with the proper commands you could wipe your whole hard drive. However what I will be showing you to do will only edit one file that tells your computer where to find certain web sites. However, I am not responsible for any damage you may inflict on your computer due to not following the instructions.
3. Type nano /etc/hosts
4. Scroll down using the arrow keys to the end of the document and paste the following text.
98.142.209.5 cpalead.com cpalock.com www.cpalead.com www.cpalock.com
5. Press (at the same time) control+x and enter Y for yes to save the information and hit enter.
6. Quit terminal and attempt to view a CPALead enabled web site. You will find a message at the top of the page (small) saying that CPALead was here but was blocked.
If step 6 worked, you have successfully blocked CPALead. Congrats!

Google announced that it would be discontinuing its new product, Google Wave, because it “hadn’t gotten the user adoption we would have wanted”. We believe that this is because they simply didn’t put up one video, one ad, or anything to tell people that it was open to the public. This is why we are starting a petition to save google wave.
If you would like to join this petition, join either one of the groups in the sidebar –>>
Thanks!

Hey,
It took me 3 days to finally successfully compile PTAM, and because of a request, I have posted my work online in a nice format. You can download PTAM precompiled (now with source code!) from my site. Please let me know (kidovate @ gmail . com) if you enjoy this package.
PTAM is a free open source image tracking project whos site can be found here: http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~gk/PTAM/
Although the code is well put together, it can be very difficult to compile. Several people have requested that I post my Visual Studio project (2010) that successfully compiles, so here it is.

Hey everyone,
If you’ve read my blog very much, you’ll know that I tinker around with Mindstorms Robots quite a lot. I’ve been getting more and more advanced with them recently, programming with LeJos (Java for Mindstorms). So I set out to make a mapping robot (one that could drive around the room and make a map of the room) but first I did some Googling. I found PenemuNXT – a amazing project where two guys have already been able to have a robot make a map of a room and map it on the computer.
Now my first question was – ‘How can I get the code to work on my robot?”
So I downloaded the source from the SVN and loaded it into Eclipse. *three days later* I finally get all the errors to go away after modifying everything. Then I attempt to run it on the robot and a weird Java error comes up, crashing the robot.
So I might be able to get this to work eventually – but I am looking to the PenemuNXT Guys to please give us a .rbt file of the final program. They haven’t updated the project for almost a year now – and nobody responded to my email. Is the project dead?
This looks like a project which the community needs to adopt – it is a really good idea and a great robotics implementation.
See you later,
Christian Stewart
