PTAM Windows – Precompiled
Posted by adminJul 30
Hey,
It took me 3 days to finally successfully compile PTAM, and because of a request, I have posted my work online in a nice format. You can download PTAM precompiled (now with source code!) from my site. Please let me know (kidovate @ gmail . com) if you enjoy this package.
PTAM is a free open source image tracking project whos site can be found here: http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~gk/PTAM/
Although the code is well put together, it can be very difficult to compile. Several people have requested that I post my Visual Studio project (2010) that successfully compiles, so here it is.

Thanks! Enjoy!

Hello,
Yes there were some problems with it for certain computers. I don’t actually have the source any more sadly so I don’t know if I can create a fix or not. I don’t currently have time to work on it and recreate the compiliation so stay tuned.

Hey bro,
i’ve been compiling the original source of PTAM and it’s done. I got stuck in this error that 1394camera driver doesn’t detect my camera. So i thought of using opencv for the video source. I see you’ve already done that. can you please mail me the video source opencv code? it’ll be great help !!
Regards,
Sam
